blktap-dkms software package provides Xen API blktap kernel component DKMS package, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install blktap-dkms
blktap-dkms is installed in your system.
Make ensure the blktap-dkms package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep blktap-dkms *
You will get with blktap-dkms package name, version, architecture and description in a table
